Happy July!

As we are enjoying July celebrations, we also need to put some planning on the schedule. The new school year is coming soon and it's time to help the kids get ready. New school supplies, new schedules, new sports gear... The weather may not change much around here, but the calendar sure does.

For me that means two things: I need a plan for my business and I need a plan for my home school.

July is the month when my daughter and I typically finish the school year, and take a couple of weeks off before diving into the new one. That means it's time for me to buy and print new curriculum, clean out our school binders, and stuff them anew. It's my favorite. I love seeing all the new things we're going to learn, and all the new books we're going to read. I also need to know which of our books I can loan from the library, and which ones I will need to buy.

On a professional side, I'm thinking about back to school portraits as well as the upcoming fall portrait season. For now, I put a BTS Portraits day on my schedule. These will be a bit like mini sessions, but smaller. The sessions will only take about 5 min of your time and include 3 high res photos. Feel free to bring a backpack or some books to dress up these adorable portraits. If you are part of a homeschool group and this date doesn't work for a lot of you, let me know. I am happy to plan a different one for your group.
